By taking a systems approach to materials research to propose new realities that re-couple use of materials resources to human wellbeing and economic development, we aim to help society transition to a more sustainable existence. Our systems approach integrates three main themes, namely Sustainable Future Materials, Sustainable Future Manufacturing and Sustainable Future Consumer Experience The results of the first phase of BMFRG were exhibited at the London Design Festival, (LDF) 2018. The work conducted within the second phase will be exhibited at the LDF in September 2019.
